Being a B Corp, return to our confined certification!

Last March, in the early hours of confinement,
with pride, to learn about our B-Corp label!

A great score 86.5 points… and the best of international recognition
to measure the societal and environmental impact of companies.
After a few months of immersion in the community, this re-containment is an opportunity for us to go back on the road we have traveled!

B CORP - OUR PRIDE

It was almost a year of work, reflections and evaluation of our approach to become the first French Food brand of our size to be labeled, with a nice score of 86.5 points!

Superproducteur joins model companies, as virtuous as they are talented, among which: Patagonia, VEJA, Bjorg Bonneterre, Utopies, Nature & Découvertes etc.

B CORP WHAT IS IT?

Founded in the United States in 2006, B Corp, or Benefit Corporation, is an international community of companies who are committed to seeking, through their economic model, not to be the best IN the world but the best FOR the world. . Becoming a B Corp means measuring its overall impact (on its Employees, Communities, Environment and Customers) by submitting to a questionnaire based on the best international benchmarks. Evaluated by the NGO B LAB, applicants for the label must achieve a minimum of 80 points, include in their statutes their determination to contribute to “global benefit” and undergo re-evaluation every three years to improve.

WHY DID WE CHOOSE B CORP?

This certification is a great recognition of all our efforts over the past 6 years to have a positive impact and a lever to go even further and further in the incarnation of our corporate mission: To reinvent the world of agrifood to relocate the agriculture and restore producers to their rightful place in a virtuous food chain.

Being a B Corp means contributing collectively to large-scale projects but also putting in place virtuous measures internally, such as:

  • Support the agricultural relocation of our recipes by choosing French olives, grown in organic farming when the majority of olives available in France are imported.
  • Contribute to the reduction of plastic with a new packaging for our Bread Sheets, a unique and recyclable bag. We are aiming for plastic 0 by the end of 2021.

An opportunity and a motivation to be part of this beautiful community that allows us together to create a real positive dynamic:

  • For our sales team, we have chosen to support the B Corp Ucon Acrobatics which offers super comfy backpacks, respectful of animal welfare and the environment!
  • For committed pairing, we invited Archibald, the Organic Distillery Tonic from the Société des Vieux Copains as a new guest brand
