ANDREA AND MARIE, THE GOOD WOOD
Designed to enhance the aperitif-dinner, our solid oak serving reglettes are made in the Jura, by Andrea and Marie, two sisters who fell into woodworking since childhood!
An artisanal family business with an ethical and local approach, and a real breath of fresh air for this endangered ancestral activity…
ABOUT THE PRODUCERS
The adventure began in 1978 when Denis, Marie and Andrea’s father, took over an old wood factory, near the Swiss border, to found the family company.
Initially specializing in structural anchors, it will gradually diversify its activity and its manufacturing methods by buying several businesses. But above all, under the leadership of the two sisters, she puts herself at the service of design and a more ethical manufacturing process.
On the workshop side, Marie and Andréa are keen to work with local wood, in a region historically linked to the sawmill where the next generation is struggling to build up. The two sisters thus intend to preserve a traditional know-how by relocating woodworking to their native region: the Jura.
The family business works there the French Massif Oak, of superior quality. It is also certified Living Heritage Company, a prestigious certification which recognizes excellent French know-how.
And that’s not all ! On the environmental side, the wood comes from sustainable management of forest resources with the PEFC label, and the chips are 100% recycled, used as firewood in winter and distributed to local farmers the rest of the year. A global commitment which allows them, according to a 2017 carbon footprint, to have greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to those of a two-person household.
A global relocation approach that aligns with the values of Superproducteur and that we support to promote local activity and support the industry.
“Our commitment? Promote fair recognition of woodworking, combining tradition and technicality”
Marie – co-producer of our Solid Oak Reglettes
Passionate about materials and a talented designer who is inspired by the organic forms of nature, it was only natural that our co-founder Julien Cedolin got closer to Marie and Andrea.
Julien designed our Solid Oak Reglette and provided the technical brief hand in hand with the workshop to ensure that our Reglette comes into being. This is an exclusive Superproducteur design. With Pauline, our co-founder, they therefore thought out the smallest details to make life easier for our restaurant clients:
The choice of material (here no lamination, it is therefore impossible for it to split in two), its shape with rounded angles and its size for a good grip and the depth of each notch (a perfectly controlled milling ) to make room:
– by capsule to highlight the terroir
– with a knife to prevent it slipping during the service
– to our recipe and Leaves of Bread.
Meticulous work, acclaimed by many restaurants and bars that offer our recipes on this ingenious serving board. Ideal for the training of a finger food offer, it has become the essential tool for bartenders, chefs or mixologists, concerned with detail and the customer experience.
Small +: the Superproducteur laser engraving has a perfect finish that can be accompanied by the logo of the establishments.

Because they work with the most beautiful of materials: wood
A natural material resulting from traditional know-how, healthy and ideally suited for contact with food.
Because they participate in the development of the territory
Despite the additional cost, Marie and Andréa have chosen to source their supplies from local sawmills, a way of maintaining activity in the region and guaranteeing the quality for which it is renowned.
Because they are committed to the ecological transition
The company’s GHG emissions are equivalent to those of a two-person household, wood waste is recycled all year round, and the wood used comes from sustainable management of forest resources.
